The latest report of Lil Wayne’s death comes from Facebook where a video circulating reads “RIP Rapper Lil Wayne Found Dead.” Users are then prompted to share the video on Facebook before they can view it. Um. No.
Back in the day this has been the template for viruses aimed at “gaining users personal information,” the Inquistrreported.
“The rapper has been the center of a number of other fake death reports, including one in the spring of this year and again in the summer,” the publication added.
Earlier this year, Lil Wayne was reportedly on the brink of his death due to continuous seizure. Other sources claimed the rapper had a drug overdose, but he stressed epilepsy was the main reason of his near-death experience.
“The thing is, man, the bad news is, I’m an epileptic, so I’m prone to seizures,” Wayne said in a radio interview via TMZ. “This isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures; y’all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of ’em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent.”
“Basically, I could’ve died soon. That’s why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That’s typical me, though,” he added.
Wayne has a new single out with French Montana and Chris Brown. The song is called Loyal. Dude is almost Jesus.
